A man abducted a 24 year old woman from her work place in Muktsar, Punjab, and the CCTV footage records the man dragging the girl on the road.
The woman was continuously shouting for help on the road, while the man was dragging her on March 25th. But none could come to her rescue, seeing the weapon in his hand.
The woman after getting released from the kidnapper, the following day, complained to the police that, the man can be clearly spotted on the CCTV footage and added that, he raped her at a farmhouse.

Police registered the FIR after 5 days of the incident for unknown reasons and are yet to arrest the man involved in the crime, even after almost a month.
On the recorded video of CCTV camera on a shop nearby, even the woman’s colleagues were spotted running out later.
Responding to the issue, the police said that, the man knew the woman before and the duo are from the same village.
The man who was spotted in the video, dragging the woman till the end of the street, is absconding along with an alleged accomplice.
Meanwhile, the women along with her father has approached the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, which has summoned a top police officer from Muktsar to explain the delay in apprehending the accused.
