TDP Faces Heat from BCs in Andhra Pradesh

Telugu Desam Party which has been leading the government in Andhra Pradesh had great support from the backward castes (BCs) in the previous elections. However things seem to be changing because of the political allotments in the party. The Rajyasabha seats allotment has been a huge misfire which brought enough gap between them revealed the sources. Ex-Minister KE Prabhakar and a section of BCs have been making lot of noise on this and they revealed that TDP has been allotting Rajyasabha seats for those who have been paying huge amounts of money for the party.

A huge rally took place in Kurnool which started from the city took to TDP office in Kurnool demanding for enough seats for BCs who supported the party. Speaking on this, KE Prabhakar revealed “If there is no equality of seats for BCs, TDP will soon lose its charm. We will not just look through silently if we are treated low and not allotted seats. Rajyasabha seats should be allotted with utmost care, else there will be a lot of damage that will take place to the party”. However the TDP leaders and Chief Minister Chandra Babu remained unavailable to comment on this.
