Around 24 youths aged between 18 and 30 were arrested by Cyberabad SHE teams in the last two weeks. According to the police, five of the youths have been sent to judicial custody. Other Thirties were counselled on Saturday.

60 SHE teams spread across Cyberabad have nabbed 30 persons from May 25 to June 4. The arrested were found harassing women in different ways. They included a minor boy, three persons aged between 30 and 40 and one aged above 40.

Cases have been registered against five persons. All the five have been produced before a court and sent to judicial remand. Others were counselled in the presence of their relatives and were strictly instructed to keep away from such activities again.

So far 376 persons were picked up for harassing women in 2016. Of them, 21 were minors and 314 people aged 18-30 category. Cases have been registered against 67 persons.
