In yet another controversial issue, YSR Congress Party senior leader K Parthasarathi blamed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for demolishing the temples and other places of worship. He added that Naidu has hurt the religious sentiments of the two communities across the State.
Addressing the press in Hyderabad, Parthasarathi said that β the reaction of the Chief Minister towards the demolition drive expressed his indifference to such a sensitive issue and unveiled the inefficiency of his government.β
Parthasarathi even accused Naidu of blaming others. He added that for widening the road TDP leaders demolished temples and mosques.
He said βthe decade old temples which were demolished were not built in the centre of the roads. Naidu should take the responsibility for the demolition and his ignorance divulges his inefficiency.β
