In a checking at RGIA, a woman and her son from Kenya were held by the Customs officials on Thursday. Officials seized 1.5 kg gold from the mother-son duo.

Sources said that “ the woman in her late 30’s arried at the airport with her son from Dubai. As part of the regular checks at the Green Channel, the duo was asked go through the scanners. When checked, it was found that that they were concealing eight gold bars in their undergarments. The duo had travelled from Kenya to Dubai and then to Hyderabad in an Emirates flight. The RGIA police arrested the duo and seized their passports and property.”
