Afriqiyah Airways international flight in Libya has been forcefully asked to land in Malta with 118 on board. The aircraft is said to be hijacked by two hijackers who threatened to blow off the plane revealed the local media. The Airbus A320 is said to have been diverted today morning and the two hijackers have been on board during the travel revealed sources.
Malta Prime Minister called it a ‘potential hijack situation’ and the plane has now been surrounded by soldiers on the runway of the Malta airport. The latest update is that the hijackers threatened that they would blast the plane. All the emergency teams have been alerted and the Prime Minister has been personally monitoring the situations.
