A Crucial Monday for Vijay Mallya:- Liquor baron Vijay Mallya is one among the leading businessmen in the country. Leading a lavish life, Vijay Mallya never hesitated to show off his personal life to the public. He has been even elected as Rajyasabha MP. However he took Rs 9000 crores from various nationalized banks across the country for his prestigious Kingfisher Airlines. Once the airline company landed up in heaps of losses, Vijay Mallya flew from the country. All the banks tried in all the available ways to recover their debts by selling his properties which even could not get them 10%.

Vijay Mallya himself revealed that he has immense respect towards the country after he has been attacked by the Indian media. Vijay Mallya has been staying in London and he has been often spotted during the cricket matches and the grand prix shows. Indians residing in London started chanting him chor after they spotted him but Vijay Mallya was least bothered. On the other hand, the centre has been tying its best to hold Vijay Mallya and bring him back to the country. With all the legal documents, the hearing will take place this month. The Supreme Court today is expected to reveal out their decision in the contempt case.

Calling it a violation of order, Vijay Mallya has been spotted transferring 40 million USD to his children, Vijay Mallya has been announced guilty. The Supreme Court asked Vijay Mallya to return back and appear before the court on or before July 10th which never happened. The consortium of banks led by the State Bank of India (SBI) had approached the Supreme Court saying that Vijay Mallya violated many rules. Vijay Mallya has been asked to deposit 40 million USD back to the court after the banks approached the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court allotted the case to a bench which inquired if the criminal proceedings have been initiated against Mallya. The court even asked Vijay Mallya about the company Diageo Plc which is based in London. Vijay Mallya has been asked to submit the details about the company. Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi and senior advocate Shyam Divan have been leading the bench revealed that they are not interested to hear from Mallya unless he deposits 40 million USD to the court and appear before them. They even said that his statements on social media will not be accept and even his lawyer's appearance will make no difference.
