Congress Leader Mukesh Goud’s Son Vikram Allegedly Shot, Out Of Danger:- In a shocking incident, some unidentified persons shot Congress Leader Mukesh Goud’s Son Vikram thrice this morning at his residence at Gayatri Hills under Banjara Hills police limits in the city

According to police sources, at around 3.30am, Vikram was attacked by unidentified persons injuring him on his right shoulder and spinal cord. He suffered at least two bullet injuries.

Vikram’s wife Shifali rushed to the spot, on hearing the gunshots on the ground floor, where she found him lying in a pool of blood. The family immediately rushed him to Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospital. Later, the doctors said he was out of danger.

Vikram’s residence in Gayatri Hills near Hafeez Baba Nagar was visited by the police clues team along with dog squads. The attackers shot three rounds of fire at him and fled the spot. After participating in a social program, Vikram returned home late night after 12.30am. He woke up at 3am to perform a Pooja and that is when he was attacked.

Police said, neither the security at Vikram’s residence nor anyone in the vicinity saw any persons moving around or running of the house.

Meanwhile, Vikram has made some shocking revelation that “he knew the persons who attacked him and will reveal their names after recovery.”

As BC Welfare Minister, Mukesh Goud served Andhra Pradesh. During YS Rajasekhar Reddy's tenure as chief minister in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, Mukesh looked after other portfolios. Active in Youth Congress politics, Vikram contested the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections from the Jambagh Division. He was the party’s Mayoral candidate for the GHMC polls.

Many criminal cases are pending against both the father-son duo. However, the police are yet to identify the attackers.
