BJP Redraws Friendship Plans With TDP

BJP Redraws Friendship Plans With TDP:- Nandyal by polls are expected to be a game changer for AP politics and many called it a curtain raiser for 2019 Assembly and Parliament elections in the state. Both TDP and YSRCP campaigned in style and both the parties sounded pretty confident on victory. TDP and YSRCP leaders even stepped out revealing about the majority and the D day arrived finally. TDP nailed it in style and showed pure dominance across the constituency throughout. This turned out to be a huge shock for YSRCP and YS Jagan who pinned massive plans to make it to the top league with the victory. YS Jagan has been meeting the top BJP officials from sometime and there are talks that YSRCP will join hands with BJP for the upcoming elections in the state.

There have been even talks that Modi and Chandra Babu differed when it came to special status for the state. Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu who has been playing a crucial role in the political movements between the Centre and the state has been asked to take the oath as the Vice President of the country. All these situations clearly showed that BJP and TDP are no longer close political aides. However things changed completely after TDP dominated in the Nandyal by polls. This may be a huge shock but Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted about the victory of Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy calling it a proud moment to the NDA alliance. He even called Nara Chandra Babu Naidu and appreciated his party for the sheer dominance in the elections.

This came as a major shock to YSRCP and YS Jagan is back to rethinking mode if he can make it big in 2019 Assembly elections in the state. After hiring political strategist Prashant Kishor, Jagan got immense confidence and the party never expected such a deadly defeat though a section warned YS Jagan about it. Amit Shah who has been keenly focused on 2019 Parliament elections had a dual stand before Nandyal by polls. He even delayed his trip to the state as he was eagerly waiting for the result which has been called prestigious. Now an inside source of BJP called that the party doesn’t need any new friends in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling TDP ‘Our valued ally’ is something unexpected and is a clear indication that BJP is completely interested in travelling with TDP rather than taking risk joining hands with YSRCP. Chandra Babu called the victory as the sign of the development in the state and people are supporting them.
