Blast In London Underground Train At Parsons Green Station Creates Havoc:- Following a possible explosion on a London Underground train at Parsons Green Station, the eyewitnesses said the passengers were seen “badly burned”, as emergency services said they were responding to an “incident”.

Amid scenes of panic during rush hour, the witnesses reported seeing passengers who had suffered facial burns and had hair coming off, with at least two women seen being treated by medics. According to a witness, six ambulances, fire engines and a helicopter were at Parsons Green station in West London, where as another leading daily reported that passengers had suffered facial burns from a blast and others had been hurt in a subsequent stampede.

The station was closed, as well as an entire section of the District Line where it is located.
A reporter at the scene was quoted as saying, that a white container exploded on the train. The bucket looked like the type used by builders and there appeared to be cables coming out of it.

A media technology consultant, Richard Aylmer-Hall (52) described “panic” on the train. “There was panic, lots of people shouting, screaming, lots of screaming.” “There was a woman on the platform who said she had seen a bag, a flash and a bang, so obviously something had gone off… I saw two women being treated by ambulance crews,” he said.
An eyewitness told that flames engulfed one carriage and raced along the train enroute to Parsons Green, forcing passengers to trample others as they rushed for an exit. The man said people were trampled on when they fled the train after hearing a whoosh and seeing flames race towards them. He said he did not hear a bang after police rushed to an incident at the station at Parsons Green.

A woman was sitting on a pavement with a bandage around her leg while armed police patrolled, outside the station. A witness saw a woman being carried off on a stretcher with her legs covered in a foil blanket.

“We are aware of an incident at #ParsonsGreen tube station. Officers are in attendance,” London police said on Twitter.
The Police said they were aware of reports on social media and would release facts regarding the incident once they could be sure of their accuracy.

The paramedics and firefighters were present said the London Ambulance and Fire Brigade. There was no service between Earls Court and Wimbledon on the District Line which runs through Parsons Green, said the Transport for London on twitter.

The British police are treating the incident as an act of “terrorism”, saying “a number of people had been injured”. Britain, so far, has already suffered four attacks blamed on terrorists this year which killed 36 people.
