Vishal's Nomination Rejected By Election Commission:- Young actor Vishal filed his nomination to contest in the by-election of RK Nagar constituency which is taking place after the sudden demise of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. He filed his nomination yesterday and in a shocking move his nomination has been rejected by the Election Commission today. Rajesh Lakhoni, TN Chief Electoral Officer revealed "The application has been incomplete and it contained many mistakes. Each contesting candidate should have 10 proposers who should be the voters of the constituency. Some among them confirmed that it is not their signature and so the application of Vishal has been rejected".

Vishal is currently Nadigar Sangam's General Secretary and the President of the Tamil Film Producers Council. He announced that he would be contesting in RK Nagar by-polls on Saturday and filed his nomination papers on Monday. In a shocking move, Jayalalithaa's niece Deepa's application too has been rejected by the Election Commission today. The officials revealed that the application has been incomplete because of which it has been rejected.
