Thunderstorm In Hyderabad: Power Outage And Traffic Jams:- When the temperatures have been keeping Hyderabadis soaring, the hail and thunderstorms have been bringing huge relief for the people in the city. For the second time this week, the city witnessed thunderstorm across Ameerpet, Srinagar Colony, Begumpet, Banjara Hills and Kukatpally last night. The temperatures went down due to the sudden rain and the city witnessed massive traffic jam across the major regions due to the sudden downpour.

Tree branches fell across the city blocking the roads and water stood to knee depth. The commuters found it difficult to reach their destinations and had to wait under the flyovers to protect themselves from rain.The strong winds did not allow people to drive further. Most of the regions have been left in darkness as the power supply was interrupted due to the massive wind. The situations turned normal only after midnight however the power issues got rectified early this morning.
