Huge Protests On Narendra Modi's Tamil Nadu Visit:- Tamil Nadu people staged wide protests on the ongoing Cauvery issue for the formation of the new board. However the Centre kept calm considering the elections in Karnataka. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been to Tamil Nadu today and he has been welcomed by a series of protests in the state by Makkal Kalai Ilakkiya Kazhagam, Tamil Desiya Periyakka followers along with several Muslim groups.

With huge gatherings today at Tirisoolam railway station, cops chased them and arrested all the protestors. Huge number of police have gathered after people staged protest saying 'Go Back Modi'. Some of the Chennai roads have been blocked and the common people faced the heat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flew to Chennai to flag off the Defence Expo in the city.
