Chhota Rajan Announced Convicted In J Dey's Murder Case:- Seven years after the brutal murder of senior journalist Jyotirmoy Dey, a Mumbai court announced that gangster Chhota Rajan convicted in the case. However another journalist Jigna Vora who instigated Chhota Rajan for the crime has been announced acquitted for lack of evidence. Eight others along with Chhota Rajan have been announced convicted. The sentence is expected before evening. Jyotirmoy Dey, a 56-year-old crime reporter was working for Midday Eveninger.

Dey was shot in daylight in June 2011 and this incident shook the entire nation. Titled "Chindi -- Rags to Riches", the book was penned on 20 gangsters from the country. Chhota Rajan hired a contract killer for Rs 5 lakhs to kill Dey. He was shot five times by Satish Kalia and the investigation took as many as eight years. Chhota Rajan was deported from Indonesia's Bali in November 2015 and has been moved to New Delhi's Tihar jail.
