Rajinikanth Visits Thoothukudi: Announces Financial Help:- Superstar Rajinikanth has been on a break and is in plans to float his own political party in Tamil Nadu. The actor has been shattered with the recent deaths in Sterlite protests in Thoothukudi. Rajinikanth flew to Thoothukudi and he met the victims and their families in the city. He called the incident inhumane and said that the plant should not be opened again. He called that the Sterlite protest a big lesson for the government.

"I don't want to comment more on it, but the Government needs to be careful as the people are watching, it was a huge mistake and a big lesson. I announce Rs 2 lakh each for the kin of victims who died in the protest" said Rajinikanth during his media meet. Rajinikanth even announced Rs 10000 for the victims who got injured in the protest. Rajini demanded an action on all the police officials who have been involved in the shoot and those who are responsible for the shoot.
