Bodh Gaya Serial Blast Case: Five Sentenced Life Term

Bodh Gaya Serial Blast Case: Five Sentenced Life Term:- A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court today announced the verdict in the Bodh Gaya serial blasts case. The court announced life sentence for all the convicted. The incident place on July 7th 2013 and nine serial blasts took place in Bodh Gaya which is one of the Buddhist piligrim towns. Five including two monks were injured in the incident.

NIA special court judge Manoj Kumar Sinha announced 14 years of imprisonmanent to one more convict Haider Ali and thre years imprisonment to other convict Omair Siddiqui. Rs 10000 fine has been imposed to all the convicts. Imtiyaz Ansari, Haider Ali, Mujib Ullah, Omair Siddiqui and Azharuddin Qureishi have been convicted on May 25th and the final verdict has been out today. All the convicted have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, Unlawful Activity (Prevention) Act and the Explosives Act.
