Tv9 Served Show Cause Notices In Kathi Mahesh Issue:- Kathi Mahesh landed into a stir of controversies after the critic made some unusual comments on Hindu Gods. With several cases registered, Hyderabad cops asked Kathi Mahesh to stay away from the city for the next six months. Telangana DGP Mahendar Reddy revealed that popular tv channel tv9 has been issued show cause notices for repeatedly telecasting the news that created social tensions all over. He said that the channel violated the rules as per the Cable TV Regulation Act.

Even though Telangana DGP didnot reveal the channel's name directly, Kathi Mahesh made these comments during the live debate in tv9 studio and the tv channel repeatedly telecasted the news. A reply from the channel is expected at the earliest after which an action will be initiated. Kathi Mahesh moved to his home town currently.
