Center Agree To Pawan's Demand, Withdraws Privatization Of DCIL:- The Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, in a yet another evidence of Janasena party leader Pawan Kalyan and Bharatiya Janata Party's thriving friendship, has proclaimed that the Centre would not privatize the Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL).
Gadkari has stated that the Union Government dropped its proposal owing to the public wrath, giving an immense comfort to the employees of the DCIL who were on tenterhooks.
The center, in the beginning, had proclaimed to privatize the Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) in Vizag pursuing which there was an uproar from its employees who had approached Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan has taking up the cause had strongly opposed against the privatization of the DCIL. In point of fact, in a hapless incident, an employee of DCIL had committed suicide fearing of his job.

Previously, Pawan issued a demand to the Central Government saying if it goes ahead with the privatization of DCI, he will draw back his support to BJP. He said that he wrote a letter to PMO requesting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to retreat his plans to privatize the corporation.
He questioned the Centre that what is the point in supporting a government which is not able or willing to resolve a problem that affects so many families?

Earlier this year, Pawan took a storming tour across Andhra Pradesh and met the employees of DCI over the privatization.

With this, Pawan Kalyan has upped the ante and ultimately, the Centre has agreed to Pawan's demand.

The inside buzz, however, is that the bang-up equation of the Janasena and BJP is the actual ground for the Centre to withdraw the thought of the privatization of the DCIL which is incurring profits.
