Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cremated With State Honours:- Indian Ex-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away yesterday at 5.05 PM. The whole country mourned the demise of the legendary politician. Several senior leaders and politicians flew to New Delhi to offer their last prayers for Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The last rites have been held today evening and Atal Bihari Vajpayee's mortal remains have been cremated with state honours. Thousands of people walked showering petals at the carriage and the journey lasted for seven kilometers.

The cremation took place at Smriti Sthal and massive crowds gathered for the last witness. After a 21-gun salute, his daughter Namita Bhattacharya completed the last rites as per the Hindu customs. The journey began at 2 PM from BJP's new central office on the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg. PM Modi, Amit Shah, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik and Yogi Adityanath received the body near the gate of the party office. They later paid their tributes by offering flowers. An end for a great era. Rest in Peace Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
