Pranay's Case: Contract Killer Arrested And Congress Leader Suspended:- Dalit Christian Pranay's murder created a sensation across Telugu states. He was killed for marrying an upper caste girl Amrutha Varshini. Protests triggered all over and the Telangana government took things prestigiously and Miryalaguda cops had many new developments in the case. Amrutha's father Maruthi Rao has been nabbed after he confessed the crime. Subhash Sharma, a contract killer from Bihar has been arrested in connection with this case. Amurtha's father was badly upset for his daughter marrying a dalit boy.

Rao with his brother Shravan and friend Abdul Karim (a Congress leader) hired contract killers. The cops suspect that eight to ten people have been involved in the murder directly or indirectly. The couple married secretly in Arya Samaj early this year. Maruthi Rao deferred with his daughter and they did not attend the wedding reception that was held this August. Mohammad Kareem who has been a part of this tragedic incident has been suspended from Congress. He was taken into custody on Sunday and Congress leader K Jana Reddy announced that Kareem has been suspended from the party.
