Two Lakh Less Voters Now Than In 2014 Says Chief Election Commissioner:- It may be quite shocking but the Chief Election Commissioner revealed that the number of voters in Telangana in 2018 have been two lakhs less than the number in 2014. Chief Election Commissioner OP Rawat announced this during a press conference last evening. He has been in Hyderabad to conduct a review meeting on the upcoming polls in Telangana. Chief Election Commissioner revealed the number of voters in 2014 were 2.82 crores.

But now the number reached 2.80 crores. Rawat revealed that approximately 1.41 crores are men and 1.39 crores are women. Rawat said that the Election Commission took all the suggestions and concerns from various political parties. Rawat also said that impartial action would be taken on anyone who vioalate the rules and election code. Election Commission has launched cVIGIL app, which will be effective from the date of notification.
