Telangana Polls: 2.8 Cr Voters And 1821 Candidates Testing Their Luck:- Telangana state is heading for Assembly polls today and over 2.80 crore voters are all set to decide the fate of the state. Over 1821 candidates across 119 constituencies are testing their luck in this battle. Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) and Congress - TDP alliance (Prajakutami) are fighting neck to neck in the elections. The elections are being held from 7 AM to 5 PM. The Election Commission made special arrangements for the physically challenged and mentally retarded people to reach the polling stations.

All the voters are requested to carry their ID cards along with the voter slip to cast their vote. All those whose votes went missing can register a complaint by calling 1800 599 2999 or 1800 111 950 for further assistance. Though the main fight is between Congress and Prajakutami, in some of the constituencies BJP, BLF and independents have been showing their dominance. The voting percentage is expected to be revealed by this evening in Telangana.
