Violence And Purification After Women Enters Sabarimala:- Kerala's most prestigious Sabarimala temple turned out to trigger several incidents of violence after the Supreme Court asked to allow women of all ages to enter the temple. Two daring women under the age of 50 have fulfilled their vow to worship Sabarimala temple and the whole country has been left surprised with this. Bindu (40), an assistant professor and Kanakadurga (41), an assistant manager at KSCSC visited the temple at 3.48 AM on Wednesday and got their darshan of Lord Ayyappa. They emerged as the first women to achieve this.

Soon the temple has been shut for ritual purification before re-opening again. This sparked violence and protests across the state by the BJP and other Hindu organizations. The ruling CPM and BJP workers attacked each other and the cops had to sweat out to bring things under control. Several media personnel have been injured in the incident. Soon street battles opened across the state. Several videos of Bindu and Kanakadurga reaching the temple have been surfaced online. They reached Pampa at 1.30 and completed their trek by 3.30. The duo completed the darshan by 3.50 AM on Wednesday.
