Purandeswari Clarifies Of Staying In BJP:- NTR's daughter Daggubati Purandeswari has been idle from some time in AP politics. She joined BJP during the previous elections and after badly defeated, Purandeswari stayed calm and almost vanished from politics. There have been wide speculations that she is keen on joining YSRCP. Adding strength to this, her husband Daggubati Venkateswara Rao along with his son Hitesh Daggubati met YSRCP Chief YS Jagan in his Lotus Pond residence.

Purandeswari clarified the rumors that she is not willing to leave BJP and will contest wherever the party offers her ticket. Purandeswari clarified that she will contest as MP and will not contest from any Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh. Purandeswari last contested from Rajampet constituency and lost to PV Midhun Reddy. On the flip side, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao made it clear that his son Hitesh wishes to work under the leadership of YS Jagan. Hitesh is expecting MLA ticket from Parchur and is said to have been given a promise from Jagan.
