Telangana State Budget To Cross Rs 2 Lakh Crores:- TRS emerged as a winner for the second time in Telangana. The state's Chief Minister KCR is yet to complete the cabinet expansion in the state and there are speculations that the cabinet will be finalized and picked up this month. As per the latest news, the state government is all set for interim budget that would be introduced in the state's Assembly sessions that are going on currently. The estimated budget for 2019-20 is said to be Rs 2 lakh crores.

KCR already made an announcement that the interim budget will be announced soon considering the Parliament elections in mind. The state's budget last year was said to be Rs 1.74 lakh crores. Rs 41,000 crores will be sent on welfare schemes from the budget. As promised, KCR will focus more on irrigation and pension schemes that is announced before the Assembly polls. The budget sessions in Telangana Assembly will begin from February 20th and will continue for five days.
