YSRCP Claims 59 Lakh Fake Votes In AP:- The election fever is all over now across the country and Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for Assembly along with the Parliament polls that are scheduled to take place during April / May this year. TDP and YSRCP are set for a tough battle in Andhra Pradesh and YSRCP yesterday listed over 59 lakh fake votes in the state. The Election Commission team visited Andhra Pradesh to audit the voters list in the state and YSRCP made these allegations targeting TDP in the state. YSRCP stated that 16% (59 lakh) of the votes are fake among the 3.69 crore votes listed.

They may be invalid, fake or duplicate claimed YSRCP during a press conference. YSRCP released a detailed survey with the list of these fake voters in the state. YSRCP also said that there are 20 lakh people who are holding votes in both AP and Telangana. YSRCP Legal Cell President P Sudhakar Reddy filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court asking EC to rectify these errors. The High Court of Andhra Pradesh asked the Election Commission to intervene into the matter and issue a clarification on the same.
