Narendra Modi Rolls Out Kisan Scheme For 1 Crore Farmers:- With elections heading soon, the leading BJP is stepping out with innovative plans. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme. One crore farmers got their first installment of Rs 2000. The program benefits 12 crore farmers across the country and Rs 75000 crores cash transfer is on. The transfer scheme grants Rs 6000 for each farmer in three installments annually. Under this benefit, the first installment has been deposited for 1.01 crore farmers.

Those who have been left out will get the benefit soon. Modi addressed the crowds at the Fertiliser Corporation of India ground and he slammed the opposition parties who named BJP for ignoring the farmers. He started his speech with 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan'. Modi reminded that the promise was not a part of elections but the decision was taken in Parliament only after the budgetary allocations. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme was announced last month during the interim budget. Over 400 farmers from Telangana got Rs 2000 each and the cheques were handed over by BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya. He said that 25 lakh farmers will get benefited from Telangana through Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi.
