NDA All Set To Retain Power Says Major Surveys:- BJP and its alliance NDA registered a resounding victory in the 2014 polls in the country. They won as many as 336 seats from 543 which is a record in the recent times. Congress and its allies were restricted to 88 which is low for a national party. The election fever starts tomorrow with the first phase of elections commencing in selected states. Four major surveys predict that NDA will return back to power and they will cross the magical number by border and will fall short of 336 which they got in 2014. Most of the surveys said that NDA will get 270 out of 543 which is half of the number.
CVoter, CNX, CSDS-Lokniti and VMR conducted surveys and the results have been out. Congress this time will get 130 seats on an average which is quite low. The surveys predict that UPA will have to wait for five more years to face the elections and return back to power. The surveys clearly indicate that Narendra Modi and his NDA alliance will return back to power. CVoter survey in Telangana predicts 16 seat win for TRS out of the 17 and the one seat will be bagged by MIM. The first phase of elections will take place tomorrow and the country will head for polls till May 19th. The results would be out on May 23rd.
