Sujana Chowdary Moves to High Court in CBI Issue:- Former Union Minister and TDP leader Y Sujana Chowdary has been facing allegations in bank fraud case and was summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) last week. Sujana Chowdary approached the High Court challenging CBI. He was asked to appear before CBI Office, Bengaluru on May 4th before which he approached the High Court. Sujana Chowdary stated that he is not a director or a share holder in Best and Crompton Engineering Projects Ltd which is said to have cheated Rs 71 crores.

Sujana Chowdary says that the summons served should be considered invalid by CBI. He reminded that he is a resident of Hyderabad, New Delhi and not Bengaluru. CBI registered a case against the directors of Best and Crompton on February 3rd for cheating and forgery. Sujana Chowdary after receiving the summons confirmed that he is not a director of the company and has nothing to do with it. Earlier before this, the Enforcement Directorate attached the properties of Viceroy Hotels Ltd owned by Sujana Chowdary under Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
