BJP Continues to Ignore Andhra Pradesh:- After the tremendous victory, Narendra Modi and BJP continues to ignore Andhra Pradesh. AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy requested Modi to have a look about granting special status for Andhra Pradesh. The Union budget for 2019-20 has been introduced in the Lok Sabha yesterday. Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister K Kannababu expressed his dissatisfaction saying that the Centre once again ignored Andhra Pradesh.
He said that the budget for the state has been disappointing. "There are no specific allocations for Andhra Pradesh in the budget, there is also a dissatisfaction as nothing was spoken about special category status to AP in the budget," Kannababu said. AP Government decided to celebrate Farmer's Day on July 8th on the birth anniversary of former CM Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. AP leaders are not surprised as Modi continues to ignore Andhra Pradesh. Even for Telangana, the Union Budget revealed no benefits.
