There was a technical issue with the nipple joint of the launcher and the countdown clock stopped at 56 minutes and 24 seconds. The GVSL-MK III is named as India's most popular launcher and will carry Chandrayaan 2. It has three modules: An orbiter, a lander and a rover. Chandrayaan 2 is the first complex robotic mission to space and is the first space mission that is entirely headed by women. Chandrayaan 2 is also the first space mission to conduct a soft landing on the moon's South Polar region.
