Union Home Ministry to Hold a Meeting Between AP and Telangana:- After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, several issues are yet to be resolved and are left pending. Despite of taking measures, some of them did not take a positive step ahead. The Ministry of Home Affairs decided to conduct a meeting between the Governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The meeting will take place on August 8th in the North Block of Central Secretariat in New Delhi at 3 PM. The Chief Secretaries of both states will attend the meeting as per the update.
The discussion will be on Schedules IX and X of the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014. The states have been struggling over power dues along with the division of assets and central organizations. This meeting is said to bring complete clarity on all the pending issues between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy met Telangana CM KCR in recent times and discussed over solving all the issues between the Telugu states.
