CBI Court Summons Botsa Satyanarayana: Senior leader and minister Botsa Satyanarayana has been facing allegations in Volkswagen case. The incident saw light during YS Rajasekhar Reddy's regime. Botsa Satyanarayana has been freshly served notices by the Nampally CBI Court and he has been asked to attend before the court on September 12th without fail. Botsa Satyanarayana worked as Minister of Industries during which the scam took place. Botsa Satyanarayana has been named in the case which was under investigation.

Volkswagen was in plans to set up a plant in Vishakapatnam during YSR's regime but the scam saw light after which the case was under investigation. Vashsist Vahan employee Helmanth, Ashok Kumar Jain, Jagadish Alagraja, Gayatri Rai, VK Chaturvedi, Joseph V George have been named as the accused in the case. A charge sheet has been filed in 2010 by the CBI Court and the investigation was on from years. Botsa Satyanarayana's statement will be recorded in this case and he has been asked to attend the court on September 12th without fail. Botsa Satyanarayana is yet to comment on this.
