Narendra Modi Conferred With Global Goalkeeper Award:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is conferred with the 'Golden Goalkeeper Award' and he received the prestigious award by the Bill-Melinda Gates Foundation for his contribution towards cleanliness and spreading awareness about it. Modi is currently touring in USA and he received the award from Microsoft founder and CEO Bill Gates. Modi thanked all the Indians who supported his dream of Swachh Bharat Mission and he dedicated the award to all the Indians.

"I am fortunate to receive the award in the year Mahatma Gandhi's 150 birth anniversary is celebrated. We have constructed over 11 crore bathrooms across the country and tons of people got benefited through this. A lot of women who suffered are now happy. A lot of girls left education as there are now proper washrooms in their schools. We took it as a challenge and started Swachh Bharat Mission" said Modi. He reminded that India is now open defecation free. Modi launched Swachh Bharat Mission in 2014.
