After Nine Months: KCR to Meet Narendra Modi:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is all set to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today to discuss about the various pending issues for Telangana that are promised by the Centre. KCR has been granted an appointment at 11.30 AM today and this is the first meeting of KCR with Modi after he returned to power for the second time in May. KCR will take this as the opportunity to list out the demands and resolutions for the pending issues with the Centre. KCR will request Modi for an early resolution on several pending issues that would benefit Telangana.

KCR after this will attend the apex council meeting chaired by Union water resources minister Gajendra Singh Shekawat. Some issues related to water disputes between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be discussed in this meeting. AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy too will attend this meeting and a discussion over the Godavari - Krishna river linkage project will be discussed. KCR met Modi on December 26th last year after KCR was re-elected as the Chief Minister of Telangana.

Though KCR and Modi planned to meet together, it did not happen during the swearing-in ceremony of Modi and for the inauguration of Telangana's Kaleshwaram project.
