TSRTC Protest: Congress Leaders Detained by Hyderabad Cops:- The Telangana government is strict on its stand and is not in a mood to compromise on their move against TSRTC employees. Despite of the protest reaching 17 days, there are no talks initiated. Congress leaders decided to protest before KCR's residence Pragathi Bhavan today. Congress MP Revanth Reddy who was house arrested managed to come out and he rushed to Pragathi Bhavan. Former Union minister Sarve Satyanarayana, Shabbir Ali and others were kept under house arrest. Revanth Reddy was caught when he was on his way to Pragathi Bhavan and was arrested.

Dramatic visuals from outside his residence show him zipping away on a motorcycle even as many try to stop him from fleeing. Addressing the media, Revanth Reddy slammed KCR calling that he is playing with the lives of Telangana people. He said that Telangana government ignored RTC employees even after the court asked them to initiate the talks. The security near Pragathi Bhavan has been tightened and all the vehicles passing through Begumpet region are thoroughly checked after Congress leaders announced a protest. Several youth Congress leaders and Osmania University student leaders were detained.
Former MP Anjani Kumar Yadav and former MLC Ramulu Naik were detained from Begumpet area. The metro train too will not halt at Begumpet metro station for today. Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy was detained near Somajiguda.
