CAA Got 53 Lakh Calls of Support Says Amit Shah:- Despite of the protests across the country on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the Centre seems to have been strict on its stand. Union Home Minister Amit Shah made clear that CAA received a huge response with the missed call campaign and 53 lakh verified calls were received in three days after its launch. Speaking to Times of India, Amit Shah said that over 52.72 lakh verified calls were received in favor of CAA. He also said that the total number of calls are said to be 68 lakhs and some of them are unverified.

Amit Shah asked everyone to dial 88662 88662 to support CAA during the BJP drive. All those who dial this number would deliver their message directly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Amit Shah. He even asked everyone to spread the news and ask their friends, family members to dial and support the bill. This missed call will open the eyes of all those who are keen on doing vote-bank politics said Shah.
