MP Crisis: Congress Vs BJP in Supreme Court:- Congress leaders claimed that the BJP is destroying democracy in every single state of the country. The Congress leaders made these comments today in the Supreme Court after Madhya Pradesh Congress landed into crisis. Senior advocate Dushyant Dave accused BJP for abducting their MLAs leaving the government in minority. Out of the 22, the resignation of 6 MLAs have been accepted by the Speaker. Congress wanted to go for by-polls in all the vacant seats instead of a trust vote. Dave also hit at Governor Lalji Tandon for calling a floor test in the middle of the night.

BJP too had a heated argument accusing Congress of stalling the trust vote which is against the constitution. Mukul Rohatgi who is arguing for BJP said that Congress has no legal right to remain in power. Justice DY Chandrachud is heading the bench which is hearing the case. He said that the call on resignations is to be taken by the Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Assembly NP Prajapati and an inquiry should be conducted. Congress asked the top court to help them free captive the MLAs who have been flown to Bengaluru.
