Coronavirus Row: Telugu States Completely Shut:- The Janata Curfew called by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was an instant hit and the whole country followed the rules of lockdown. With the number of cases increasing and alarming situations prevailing all over, the governments of the Telugu states announced lockdown till March 31st. Except for the emergency services, both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will remain shut till March 31st. The Telangana government announced that they would offer 12 kgs of rice along with a financial assistance of Rs 1500 for the families holding white cards in the state.

All the educational institutions, shopping malls, theatres, public transport services, autos, banks and other private institutions, software firms will remain shut as per the instructions from the governments. Telangana Chief Minister KCR warned that stringent action would be taken if the people violate the rules. AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that the basic commodities will be available for the people in this lockdown period. The number of coronavirus cases in AP and Telangana came up from the past two days.
