325 Delhi Schools To Serve Food For Poor In Coronavirus Outbreak:- Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said that the government is in plans to offer free food for the poor across the state during this tough time prevailed because of coronavirus. The Delhi government will serve 4 lakh poor people in the national capital said Arvind Kejriwal in a press conference that was conducted today. All the responsible agencies are making arrangements for the same said Kejriwal. He said that the government is well prepared if the coronavirus enters into stage 3.
Free meal scheme will be applicable for the poor and lunch, dinner would be served across 325 schools in Delhi. All the educational institutions are already shut and hence the government decided to use the schools. Kejriwal said that the Delhi government will not let anyone die of hunger. He said that they can feed 20,000 people as of now and it can be increased on demand. 234-night shelters are arranged for the poor. Kejriwal requested the help of NGOs, businessmen, private companies and religious institutions to step forward and turn a helping hand to expand this free meal scheme.
