Centres Asks States To Take Action Against Jamaat Attendees:- The whole country is occupied with the coronavirus scare and the Tablighi Jamaat event turned out to be the new headache for the government of India. As many as people from 20 states attended the event that took place in Nizamuddin between March 15th and 17th. The Centre today asked the states to initiate action against all the foreigners along with the attendees and the organizers. Most of the participants are traced and they are tested positive with coronavirus. All those who attended the event fled to different parts of the country.

Five people passed away in Telangana while 50 people who attended the event have been tested positive with coronavirus from Tamil Nadu. 18 people are tested positive from New Delhi and hundreds are being tested. The Centre located 4000 participants from different parts of the country. Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba asked all chief secretaries and police heads of the states to trace the participants. It is also heard that some of the foreigners violated the visa rules and participated in the Jamaat event. A thorough investigation is staged on the issue.
