First Coronavirus Death In Andhra Pradesh Registered:- The first coronavirus death has been reported in Andhra Pradesh after a 55-year-old man passed away on Monday in Vijayawada Government Hospital. The Health Department made the news official today. The man got admitted to the hospital on March 30th at 11.30 AM for a health checkup and he died on the same day after an hour. The patient was suffering from diabetes, hypertension and heart issues and the doctors clarified today that he passed away due to coronavirus. The son of the deceased returned to Hyderabad from Delhi on March 17th.

The son was tested positive with coronavirus on March 31st. The doctors said that the father got infected with coronavirus through his son. Right after the man got admitted to the hospital, the authorities collected the samples and sent them for testing. The deceased hails from Kummaripalem village which is located across the outskirts of Vijayawada. Around 29 people are in contact with the deceased and they have been sent to quarantine. The Health officials confirmed that the total positive cases in Andhra Pradesh are said to be 161 as of today.
