140 Out Of 164 Cases In AP Are Linked To Tablighi Jamaat Event:- Andhra Pradesh which had less number of coronavirus positive cases got a sudden rise in the number in the past three days. The total number of cases reached 164 by yesterday and 140 among them attended the Tablighi Jamaat event in Nizamuddin which took place between March 13th and 15th. All the 140 attended the Tablighi Jamaat event and returned back to the state. Three new cases are reported yesterday and two patients got discharged from the hospitals.

Initial reports said that a total number of 1085 people attended the Tablighi Jamaat event. The samples of 946 attendees are conducted and some of the results are yet to come. Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy asked the officials to strictly implement all the rules and guidelines. He also appealed to the people of the state to stay safe at home and not to make their presence in public. YS Jagan also asked the people to support the call made by Narendra Modi by turning off the lights on Sunday night at 9 PM for nine minutes.
