Centre Calls Closure Of Schools And Public Events Till May 15th:- There are strong talks that the Centre is in plans to extend the lockdown after April 14th as the number of coronavirus cases in the country saw a huge rise. A review meeting will be conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 12th after which the final call would be taken. Most of the Chief Ministers already requested Modi to extend the lockdown. There are also talks that the Prime Minister's Office is now working on a plan to lift the lockdown in a phased manner. Leaving about the decision of extension of lockdown, the schools and the public events will be closed till May 15th. Random tests of coronavirus across the country will start from today.

The total number of coronavirus cases in the country crossed 5000 and 13 new deaths were reported. 434 new cases are reported yesterday and the total reached 5212. The total number of coronavirus cases in Telangana reached 404 and the state had 40 new cases. 17 of them are from Hyderabad. 1500 bed hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad is ready to serve the people who are infected with coronavirus. Telangana ministers KTR and Etala Rajendar inspected the premises yesterday. Telangana government even issued a strict warning if they come across people who attack doctors. Stringent action would be taken on all these culprits said Telangana government. Two years of imprisonment would be awarded along with a fine of Rs 2 lakhs.
