Soon, Trump thanked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allowing the export of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine. This drug is used in many countries to treat coronavirus. Considering the requirement, India partially lifted the ban on hydroxychloroquine and is supplying the drug to USA along with other countries. US may retaliate if hydroxychloroquine is not supplied warned Trump earlier. Indian spokesperson issued a statement regarding the same soon after Trump's statement came out. hydroxychloroquine is a drug that is used to treat malaria which is old and inexpensive. Hydroxychloroquine has been named as a therapeutic solution for treating coronavirus said Donald Trump. USA is badly hit due to coronavirus and thousands lost their lives while lakhs of people are infected with the deadly virus.
