Self-Reliance is the Biggest Lesson for Coronavirus Says Modi:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the village heads of the country on the occasion of Panchayat Raj Day through a video conference. He said that coronavirus taught several lessons for mankind. He said that India has been taught to be self-reliant and self-sufficient. Modi used his scarf as a face mask and he lauded the villages across the country for handling things better than the cities. He said that there is so much to learn from the people of the villages. "The ideas and things are done in villages are far better than in urban regions where people are well educated," said Modi.

"We must learn from the current situations of coronavirus. It gave us a lot to think and the way to act in life. We have to depend on ourselves for survival. Villages proved that our culture, traditions are from the ground and they handled the crisis far better. They are busy with social distancing and are more disciplined than in the cities. The people across cities should learn from the people in the villages. It is the technology that made us interact from all the corners of the country today" concluded Narendra Modi.

The lockdown is extended till May 4th and Narendra Modi would take the call on the extension on May 3rd. Narendra Modi would once again interact with the Chief Ministers of all the states through a video conference before taking the call.
