YS Jagan Urges Centre To Help The Manufacturing Sector:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy requested the Centre to extend their support for various sectors in the state which are shattered due to the coronavirus crisis. He said that the manufacturing sector has to overcome the stress that is caused due to coronavirus pandemic lockdown. YS Jagan penned a ten page letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he highlighted the contribution of different sectors and industries for the economic growth of the state. He sought incentives to specific incentives to all the sub-sectors which include the mini, micro and the medium enterprises.
"To prosper in the long run, we need a huge support from the Centre through incentives for manufacturing sector especially. The absence of workforce hit all the industries badly. With all the markets shut down, the uncertainity around the future is in all the sectors. Many industries of Andhra Pradesh are not able to export the goods. Centre should accept this request and help the sectors to bounce back" said YS Jagan.
He requested for extension of interest-free working capital term loans for the exporters to cover their rents, wages and other utilities.
