Coronavirus Cases In India Cross 50,000 Mark:- The number of coronavirus cases in India are fastly increasing all over. 4716 new cases have been registered in the country and the total crossed 50,000 mark. There are 52,559 cases in total in the country. 154 Border Security Force (BSF) jawans are infected with coronavirus recently. 33,514 people are undergoing treatment and 14,183 have been discharged. As per the recent update, 70 Delhi cops are infected with coronavirus. The Delhi government ordered the release of 4000 Tablighi Jamaat members who are under quarantine in various centers across the national capital.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi already announced that the country would continue to be under lockdown till May 17th. A total number of 1783 people passed away due to coronavirus in the country till date. The recovery rate is said to be 29% in the country. The Centre banned the export of alcohol-based hand sanitizers in the country with immediate effect. Narendra Modi lauded all those who are supporting the country in this crisis. Air India will operate flights today to evacuate the Indians who are left stranded in the United Kingdom. Six flights from UK will return to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai.
