Special Enforcement Bureau To Curb Liquor And Sand In AP:- The government of Andhra Pradesh decided to set up a special enforcement bureau to curb the illegal transport of sand and liquor in the state. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy revealed the decision during a review meeting that took place today. The Bureau will be an individual body and will take decisions to prevent the transportation of sand and liquor in Andhra Pradesh. The state's excise minister, DGP and other officials were present for the meeting.

The Chief Minister asked the officials and the excise minister to come up with a strong plan so that they can be implemented in the state. YS Jagan said that their government is strict on their stand and will prohibit alcohol in the coming months in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the liquor was flown throughout the state during TDP's regime and was available even in permit rooms. YS Jagan also reminded that 20% of the shops in Andhra Pradesh are already closed and the new steps will have strict control of liquor in AP. They would be implementing strict rules to prevent the transportation of sand.
