Narendra Modi Announces Rs 20 Lakh Crore Package To Fight Coronavirus:- The whole country has been eagerly waiting for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the nation. Narendra Modi is much worried about the financial crunch the country is facing because of the coronavirus outbreak. He announced a package of Rs 20 lakh crores. Modi made it clear that the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will announce how the package would be spent in detail. The package will stand as a support for various fields including farmers, small scale businesses and other medium enterprises to stand in this crisis. Narendra Modi also urged the people to buy products that are made in the country.

The new package is inclusive of the Rs 1.70 lakh crores that was announced as Garib Kalyan package by Narendra Modi about 45 days ago. Narendra Modi also hinted of the lockdown extension and the announcement will be out anytime before May 17th. Narendra Modi during his 35-minute address said that the whole world is appreciating the way in which India has been dealing with coronavirus. Modi even appreciated the people of the country who stayed at their homes and followed the guidelines issued by the government of India. Narendra Modi said that the Centre would support local manufacturing industries in the coming days which would supply their products to local supply chains and local markets.
